Cimarron Council is proud to be supported by the Oklahoma Friends of NRA through grants received.

INSTRUCTORS AND RANGEMASTERS NEEDED



If you or someone you know is interested in shooting sports and would like to become certified or is certified to instruct any discipline in shooting, please contact us about serving as instructors or rangemasters on the Cimarron Shooters Task Force. Please email or phone Richard Roach (

The following positions are needed:

Cub Scout BB-Gun and Archery Rangemasters
NRA Certified Rifle, Shotgun, Pistol, or Muzzleloader Instructors
NAA Certified Archery Instructors

Cub Scout Rangemaster training is provided free by the Council to all interested and willing persons 18 years of age or older.

Shooting Sports Task Force Committee-- This committee is being formed and is open to anyone interested in helping or working on the ranges. We are looking for NRA instructors, NAA instructors, and those we will train as Rangemasters to work Cub events. This group will help setup and run the ranges at Cub, Boy, and Venturing Scout events. This committee is open to anyone in the Council, regardless of District. Please email or phone Richard Roach (
