University of Scouting
 
Premier Training!
The Cimarron Council's University if Scouting is an intensive adult training and professional development event. You will not have another opportunity to attend a broad variety of training activities during one supplemental event. The University of Scouting is for the seasoned Scouting veteran to the new Tiger Cub leader. Scouters will leave The University with a clearer understanding of their role in the development of Scouts and will Be Prepared to implement a high-quality Scouting program.
 
Who Should Attend?
University of Scouting is designed for all adult leaders in Scouting, whether you are involved with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Ventures or at the District or Council level. The one day event is designed to be fun and rewarding. You will leave with further confidence to implement an exciting Scouting program.
 
Curriculum
A broad curriculum is provided to Scouters. Most classes will last one hour long and will concentrate on one subject. Watch here for details on classes that will be included.

Times
The University will run from 8:45am-4:30pm. Registration will start at 8:30am
 
Scouting Midway
The Scouting Midway is your chance to visit with other organizations around Oklahoma and see how they can enhance your Scouting program.
 
Location
University of Scouting will be held on the campus of Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, OK.
 
Cost
Your cost is only $15 if registered by October 31. Late fee and walk in fee will be $22.
 
Lunch
A dutch oven lunch will be available for an additional $5 or lunch is on your own. If you will be eating on your own, we suggest a sack lunch, restaurants are limited.
 
Childcare
Child care will be provided to the first 20 children signed up. They must be at least 3 years old and potty trained. You must call and register your children to reserve a spot.
