Camp Williams Mess Hall
Williams Scout Reservation is located 26.5 miles west of
Enid, Oklahoma near the towns of Cleo Springs and
Fairview. From Enid, look for where U.S. Highway 412
goes from a four lane highway to a two lane, the
entrance is just a few miles beyond that. Look for a
large cell
phone tower just off to the right of Highway
412. This is where you need to turn LEFT to head to
Williams. There is a sign for the Scout Camp. Go to
the end of that road (3.5 miles) until the pavement
ends, there you will see the entrance to camp.
Camp Williams is approved for use by Cub Scout Packs, as
well as other units in the Cimarron Council. Any use of
the Climbing tower must be secured through the council's
Climbing Committee.

Camp Williams History
Williams Scout Reservation or more commonly called Camp
Williams is also known as Camp Saline, it's former name,
by the older veterans of the old Great Salt Plains
Council. The camp was renamed Camp Williams in 1970
after the late Dr. C. E. Williams, a Physician and long
time Scouter from Woodward who became a major supporter
for Scouting. In 1972 Dr. Williams was principal donor
for a new swimming pool at the camp which is still in
use today. Dr. Williams passed away in November 1972 and
is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward.

It's always great
